Pearland Tourney Varsity

Saturday morning at 8 am, the Lady Bulldog Varsity will be taking on Atascocita in the Pearland tourney silver bracket.  The match will be at Pearland Jr High off Bailey Rd. in Pearland.

10/19         at Waller   Varsity will play first at 5 pm with JV to follow

THE VARSITY TOURNEY WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!  Many compliments were given about the play, the workers, how smooth it ran, and the FOOD!  One team even said they were glad they came here instead of Pearland!  Wow! It wouldn’t have been possible without parents and sponsors!

Next Up:  JV Tourney on Sept. 6 and 8.  All hands on deck again!!

The season has started with 3 sweeps in 3 regular matches!  Whenever all teams win against an opponent, the girls hang a broom in the windows of the gyms!  Look for all 3 to be there tomorrow night!

Bulldogs Roll in Magnolia Volley Battle Tourney

Magnolia rolled thru the opening rounds of pool play in the Lady Bulldog Volley Battle Tournament on Thursday.  Finishing first in their pool, the Lady Bulldogs defeated Tomball Memorial, Klein Forest, and Georgetown Eastview, all in straight sets.

Tomorrow night, it is Mansfield Legacy at the Dog House at 6 pm, with subvarsity teams playing the Woodlands at 4, 5, 6 pm.

The tourney resumes Saturday morning at 9:30 for the Lady Bulldogs, as they take on Conroe.

Magnolia opens the Duncanville tourney by beating Keller Central 25-16, 25-15.

Keller beats a tough lady bulldog team in 5.

GAME CHANGE!!

Subvarsity teams are TRAVELING TO THE WOODLANDS ON FRIDAY, AUG 17.

They will play 9B at 4, 9A at 5, and JV at 6 pm

We will play at HOME on Aug. 24, Friday.

Lady Bulldog Rankings

Preseason polls have laid down big expectations for the Lady Bulldogs in 2012.

The Houston Chronicle area rankings for 4A & smaller schools listed us as #2, right behind #1 Friendswood.  Kylie Randall was on the preseason All Houston team.

On the Lone Star Volleyball website, Magnolia is ranked at #10 in the state with all 5A, 4A, and all other classifications included.

Follow the Lady Bulldogs and cheer us on as we begin the road to the playoffs!
