The results for the Girls' High Performance Tryouts for 2006 has been completed and we are excited to pass along this news:
The Magnolia Lady Bulldogs' very own Michele Williams was selected to both of this year's LoneStar HP Blue team and the USA Youth National A1 team. A hearty round of congratulations are in order for Michele in these selections. Michele will be training in Gainesville, Florida and joins team mate Alicia Shaffer who will be working out in Austin, Texas with the 2006 USAV High Performance (HP) development training team during a 5 day camp upcoming in July. Only the top, 'most elite' participants are fortunate enough to make these teams and these ladies are certainly deserving!

The ladies' High Performance (HP) program at USA Volleyball (USAV) is the "pipeline" for young volleyball athletes who aspire to reach the highest level and who dream to one day represent the USA on the National Women's Volleyball Team. It is an extremely challenging and competitive program to be selected into (as an USAV HP athlete), but also extremely rewarding to play with your contemporaries while training with some of the best coaches in the business. In addition, the experience of and playing at this high level will no doubt keep the ladies’ skill levels at their highest and should carry them through this upcoming season!
