The Magnolia Lady Bulldogs pounced on Cy Falls as soon as they were let out of their cage Friday night and immediately devoured the Lady Eagles 25-17. Magnolia dominated and led the game from the beginning 3-1 to 9-4, 18-11, and 21-15, before closing the coop on the Lady Eagles at 25-17. More importantly, they set the tone for the rest of the night! There was no letting up for the Lady Bulldogs with their aggressive play and solid defense as Lauren Michael (15 Kills) and Michele Williams (12 Kills, 5 Blocks, and 4 Serve Aces) lit into Cy Falls frustrating and scattering the Lady Eagles all over the court. The rest of the Lady Bulldogs wanted pieces of the action as well, so Heather Bowden, Hannah Fort, Alicia Shaffer and Mary Chadwick stepped it up and muscled their way in totally overpowering the happless Lady Eagles.
