The DAWGS trailed at the onset of Set 2 and tied at 5-5 behind 2 Michele Williams 'SlammaRooskie -Boom Boom 'shots; one at 1-1, and another at 3-3. OH All Around Jamie Kaleh put the DAWGS on top with a serving Ace at 7-5, followed by an Alicia Shaffer kill at 8-5; then after a 4-hit violation, Cy Falls called a timeout, only to be greeted by an unbelievable volley of great volleyball culminating with a Jamie Kaleh backrow kill at 10-5. The Golden Eagles were losing ground from this point forward as Lady Bulldog MB Hannah Fort opened up her arsenal with 3 straight kills at 12-6, 13-6, and 14-7. Cy Falls made up 6 points to Magnolia's 2 behind some great play of their own and closed the lead to 3 at 16-13, before another great volley at 17-13 went Magnolia's way.

Jamie Kaleh's block at 18-13 pushed the set a little farther out of reach, until a couple of Kelli Stewart kills (one at 19-14 and the other at 22-15) made the DAWGS seem unstoppable. The dagger came on the next play as Hannah Fort blocked the Golden Eagles' attack for a 23-15 edge and the Eagles were starting to nosedive while running out of feathers. For those who are interested, Pearland defeated Memorial 25-23, 25-21 in the finals. OH Amanda Aguilera was named as the MVP. Cinco Ranch finished in third place after losing to Clear Creek by a score of 25-7 in the first game to win the next two 25-16, 25-23.
