The Lady Bulldogs are taking on the Woodlands' College Park Lady Cavaliers at the Cavaliers' gym and the Lady Cavs have been anticipating this match since last year. They hadn't taken so kindly to the past several years of DAWGIE dominance and were ready to show any disbelievers that they were a vastly improved team since last year and had even displayed a little preview to those who were watching during their summer league play.

The DAWGS jumped on the Cavs early behind a Breane Matula 'Glide' kill (1-0) and a Kelli Stewart 'Hamma-slamma' kill (2-1) and followed up with a Courtney Felinski blast to the floor at 4-2 and it was beginning to look like vintage DAWGS! The ladies worked up to a 4 point advantage at 7-3 behind a balanced attack from Kelli and sophomore OH Katzy Randall...then went into an inexplainable tail-spin as the Lady Cavs ran 5 straight points at their guests, then managed to turn the momentum during the next 5 tie breaker possesions and went ahead at 13-12.
