The 2005 Magnolia Lady Bulldogs fell short in the semi-finals against Katy Taylor on Saturday, August 28th at the Don Coleman Coliseum by the scores of 25-22 in both games, and then fell to the Cinco Ranch Lady Cougars in the consolation match to finish 4th in the 2005 Spring Branch ISD Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs and their fans should be very proud for MHS's highest ever finish at Spring Branch Tournament !!
It's almost scary to think how close the ladies came to winning and being in the finals against the Dulles Lady Vikings when looking back on these two close losses against the Katy Taylor Lady Mustangs. If we just could've got one or two more 'kills' here, a couple less 'errors' there, maybe throw in a little bit of good fortune, for good measure...well, hind-sight is 20/20!! We'll get 'em next time!!
