The Dawgs went after the Klein Collins Lady Tigers in the first set handling their out-manned opponents in a 25-12 trouncing, behind a solid, aggressive attack and an overpowering defense. The Lady Bulldogs quickly established the pecking order in the first set behind a flurry of Lady Bulldog Jamie Kaleh attacks to jump out front 7-3 without ever having to look back. From there, a lethal combination of kills from MB Hannah Fort and Kaleh along with a slew of jump serves caused all sorts of problems for the Lady Tigers and helped the DAWGS stretch their lead to 12 at 22-10, until all that was needed to "ice" this game was a tip from junior Meagan Little at 25-12. Handled with the precision of a micro-surgeon...

Magnolia wasn't any easier on them in the second set either as the DAWGS jumped ahead by 7 points at 10-3 behind Michele 'Boom Boom' Williams' slamma hamma kills at 1-1 and 8-2, and mixed in with a couple of Alicia Shaffer ace serves at 2-1 and 3-1; followed up with a Jamie Kaleh "Happy Birthday" present at 5-1; a Kelli Stewart ace at 9-2; and a timely Meagan Little kill at 10-3. Again Hannah Fort scattered the Lady Tigers with her attacks and her blocking at 12-3 before Kelli Stewart thumped them at 17-7 and again at 19-8. The ladies were running away with the match when this audio file (below) kicks in at 20-8:
