DAWGPower Rules Tigers' Den

The Lady Bulldogs were out to turn their fortunes around in this match (more specifically, in this set); turning the heat up with a more offensive display coupled with solid passing to recapture the momentum while serving notice that this night was going to the DAWGS. St Agnes led the second set from start to finish; briefly allowing Magnolia to only tie at 10-10 before tearing off to a 4 point lead and victory, but we digress...

Michele Williams started this one with a kill in the middle at 1-0, then again at 2-2; an assist block with Breann Matula at 3-2; then her 'one-of-a-kind' Glide kills at 17-8 and again at 19-12 to show her prowess and keep the DAWGS firmly in control. Hannah Fort chipped in a tip at 13-5 and then a hit off the Lady Tigers' outstretched arms at 15-7.... but this set was actually setting up to become junior OHR Meagan Little's 'coming out party'... Meagan slammed a missle to St Agnes' floor for a great kill at 4-3; then a great block at 5-3; then a shot off the hands at 7-3 and again at 9-3 that really outdistanced the DAWGS from the Lady Tigers and turned this one into the "perfect strategy".
