Spartans Awakened by DAWGS

The DAWGS had a tough one with this one and may not have played their best volleyball in this set - despite picking up right where they left off from the previous shellacking. They had wounded the Lady Spartans in the last beating, but unfortunately were unable to finish them off.

The DAWGS roared at the beginning of this set by leading the Lady Spartans by 3 before Stratford knew it, or could even score a point. It was after Stratford awoke and raised the level of their play that the momentum began to switch and the Lady Bulldogs spent the rest of this one chasing the runaway Lady Spartans.
