A Conversation With Lady Bulldog Coach Terri Johnson

Coach J. talking to the troops as the Lady Bulldogs
try to figure a way to win a district match.

Hello, all you Lady Bulldogs fans!! We have a special treat for you here on the eve of a pivotal week of district 17-5A play with a conversation (in the audio file below) with Coach Terri Johnson about several things like: playing Langham Creek and Cy Creek back to back, the growth of Magnolia volleyball, some 'inside' motivational moments, thoughts on the Tomball and Cy Fair games and the future of Magnolia High School Lady Bulldogs sports programs.
Coach J is as you can imagine, a very busy, 'multi-tasking industrious' type of person. As a Head Volleyball Coach, Girl's Athletic Coordinator and teacher there's always a series of staff, players', parents' and/or administrators' meetings; team coaching sessions, scouting, etc to go into- for any and all of the ladies' sports programs that go on every day! It seems like it's way too much for a person to handle or even keep track of- but Coach J LOVES IT!! And it's obvious that it LOVES her back!! Some of Magnolia's lady sports programs are now 'runnin' with the BIG DOGS' in district 17-5A and there's no question that all of the programs are getting stronger each year.
But I didn't also realize that Coach J with her cool demeanor that we would normally see as her 'game face', would reveal that she is close to her student athletes, serious and appreciative about her work, inspirational to listen to, and truely wiser beyond her years.....
