Lady Bulldogs Fall to Langham Creek

The Lady Bulldogs trying to lend support to each other
during Langham Creek sweep at the Dawg House.

If I hadn't been there to witness it, I wouldn't have believed it....but the Lady Bulldogs took a giant step backwards in their quest for at least a share of the district 17-5A title, in the Dawg House on Tuesday evening. The Lady Bulldogs didn't want any part of Langham Creek as they were swept by the Lady Lobos for the second time this season.
The visiting Lady Lobos came to Magnolia and showed the Lady Bulldogs how to play disciplined, aggressive and focused volleyball by kicking the dogs in 3 straight games (25-15, 25-17, and 25-23). You'll have to give the credit that's really due (again) to the Langham Creek program though and they certainly deserved their win- they played great coming over to 'non-friendly turf' and taking the Lady Bulldogs again.
Records: Magnolia, 19-10, 8-3; Langham Creek 22-7, 10-1
Leaders: Magnolia, Lauren Michael, 13 kills, 16 digs; Michele Williams, 8 kills, 6 digs, 3 blocks; Alicia Shaffer, 6 kills, 7 digs; Mary Chadwick 15 assists; Caitlin Holland 14 assists; Langham Creek, Megan Kuehler 10 kills, 9 digs; Lauren Gibbs 10 kills
Next up Cy Creek AWAY on Friday. GO LADY BULLDOGS !!!

For the second time this season, the Lady Bulldogs couldn't stop Lady Lobo
OH Megan Kuehler shown here hitting the ball off Magnolia's hands for a point.
