JV Lady Bulldogs Devoured by Lady Bobcats

Defense is the name of the game. The name of this defensive specialist is Brittany
Wheaton who's transitioning the action from defense to attack with this dig.

The Lady Bulldogs JV were swept in 2 games against the top JV team in the district Friday night losing 20-25 in the first game and 8-25 in the second. The undefeated Lady Bobcats JV were simply too strong for the Bullpups to handle, despite a valiant effort to unseed them.
Game #1 was close as the 2 teams slugged it out tying in the game 6 times with the last time at 11-11. From that point, Cy Fair began inching ahead at 13-12, then raising the bar to at least a 4 point difference from then on. Once the Lady Bobcats started cranking their tall front line hitters and had the Bullpups on their hind paws 3 balling almost every return back to them - they cruised on to their 5 point win.

Two Lady Bobcats JV blockers making life miserable for Lady Bullpups.
Game #2 was not much to write home about either as the Lady Bobcats turned it on and led from beginning to end. The Lady Bulldogs fell behind at 1-3 and had an early time out called at 2-6, but instead of tightening things up from that point, the Bullpups committed numerous mistakes and serve receive errors and dug themselves into a hole at 4-18 that they could never get out of. The Lady Bobcats made short work of this game and match scoring 7 points to Magnolia's 4 and it was over and done with...

Did anyone get that license plate on that Cy Fair JV bus that
just made a roadkill out of our Lady Bullpup Kati Michael?
Here's a short audio clip between the JV match and the varsity pregame festivities:
