The Magnolia Lady Bulldogs started their playoff
run with a solid victory against Klein Collins.
The Lady Bulldogs finished off their first round bi-district playoff foe mercifully in set #3 with a consistent and brutal offensive display until the Klein Collins Lady Tigers began to split at the seams. The DAWGS rattled up the points and stats starting with Michele Williams blocking an attack at 1-0, then a beautiful Glide kill shot to the right at 4-1, another block point at 5-1; and then a heat sinking missle at 7-2 that directed the ladies onto a run that would take them to 14-2.

Michele led the hitters with 18 kills along with a solo block and 5 block assists; followed by OH Alicia Shaffer who's "bat-power" lifted her to 7 kills, 1 block assist and a team leading 9 digs. OH Kristyn Bergen and DS Anna Barren each had 8 digs, with Kelli Stewart following closely behind with 7 digs to go with her 5 kills and 2 block assists. Wow, what a busy and productive evening for Kelli! Setter Caitlin Holland dished out 21 assists in another golden performance while Hannah Davies chipped in a solid 14 assists with 5 digs. Ashlynn Newman had a good evening at the net with 3 block assists and Hannah Fort gave another solid performance this evening with 2 kills and a block assist.
