In 15-5A District volleyball play the Magnolia Lady Bulldogs continued their dominance by taking care of the Oak Ridge Lady Eagles on Friday night in 3 straight sets. The Lady Bulldogs started another streak of sweeps by winning their second in a row and 13th of the season. The ladies had 3 in a row before defeating Conroe in 4 sets - and would have 6 sweeps in a row, if they hadn't dropped one set.....wow, what am I thinking?.....Twenty-two wins against seven losses and undefeated in district play!!??....Extremely awesome!!

In other volleyball action for District 15-5A: Woodlands (15-10, 3-0) defeated Lufkin (1-2) in 4 sets behind Kristen Martel's 22 kills and Conroe (9-13, 1-2) defeated College Park (2-17, 0-3) in 4 sets with the help of Britney Martin's 16 kills.
