The DAWGS made short work of this this match against the Western Hills Lady Cougars in 2 quick sets (25-11 and 25-10) with an overpowering offense and a barrage of kills from Magnolia's hitting machine: OH Kelli Stewart, OHR Meagan Little, MB Breane Matula and OH Katzy Randall. When the Dawgs threw in their cozy defense as well, they came away with an overpowering match advancing them to the next elimination match, and sending the native Fort Worth team practically packing after playing their first match and heading towards the consolation bracket.
