WOW, what a way to start it out!....This Tuesday evening the 2008 Magnolia High School Lady Bulldogs will begin their season facing their longtime rival: the Tomball Lady Cougars at home, in the friendly confines of the DAWG House.
The DAWGS may need a little extra juice in this one as the 24 Match HOME win streak is on the line (and will be with every team the DAWGS beat will at Home going forward!!) in what promises to be an exciting and promising season, starting with a tough Cougar squad ready to start their season out on the right paw and would like nothing better than ending Magnolia's streak while starting their own.
The Lady Bulldogs will of course, have something to say about all this and need to take advantage of the momentum they've been building during the summer league season by riding the arms, legs, and backs of a veteran group of established players who are ranked #2 in the Texas state 4A preseason polls. Believe it, this is not a sport where respect is given to you - it's earned through long, hard, tough work and the DAWGS appear to be poised to make a run at their opponents, one at a time, all the way to the state playoffs. The ladies are facing a brutal schedule all season long starting with the Lady Cougars, and will need the continued fan support to help get them to San Marcos!
The Varsity ladies match will begin at 5:30 PM and the JV game begins at 4:30. Let's get ready to RRRRRrrrrummmmbbbllLLLLe !!
