The Lady Bulldogs put this set out of reach early and rode the momentum they had established through the finish in this one. It also helped that the Lady Bears appeared to be a little out of sync in the beginning as the DAWGS spread the ball around and with a couple of Katzy Randall well-placed tips (7-6 and 8-6) and a patented Meagan Little "Call to Arms" blast in the middle at 9-6, the DAWGS were on their way!

After super-sophomore Katzy Randall surgically blasted a shot down the line at 10-7, senior OHL Kelli Stewart took the reigns from there with kills at 11-8, a block at 12-8, and another kill at 16-10. Katzy added 2 more kills on her next rotation with similar shots: cross-court bullets that found their marks at 17-14 and 18-15. The Lady Bears were not about to just give up with this little wrinkle in their road, so they raised their game while the DAWGS went into their obligatory, short lapses of 'errorball' - and cut the lead to 2 at 21-19 and were hanging around to see if they could mount a run at the end. They stayed close for a couple of possessions until 23-21, when the DAWGS growled "Eeennuffffff"...Press > to Play:
