DAWGS Fall to New Braunfels

In other action:

In the Ninth Place bracket semifinals, Memorial won 19-25, 25-22, 25-23 over Pearland who was playing without Amanda Aguilera who pulled a muscle earlier Saturday.

O'Connor def. Clear Brook

Cy-Fair won the first 25-23 and Amarillo came back to win set 2: 25-19. They gym was rockin'. The Sandies came out in set 3 and fell behind 10-1, but came back and chewed up the Bobcats 25-21 in what may have been the match of the decade!

Arlington swept Cy-Fair who may have been a little deflated after their run at Amarillo, and fell: 25-22, 25-15 in the Third Place match.

Bronze Flight 2 - FB Travis def. Morton Ranch

The Westlake Chaps lost the first set against Arlington 22-25, then recovered to take the next two: 25-21, 25-16 in the other semifinal, setting up a final showdown of two very talented teams for the Pearland Championship....

In a rematch of the Duncanville finals where Westlake and Amarillo battled a couple of weeks ago: this time Westlake jumped out to a quick 8-1 lead in game three then held on to knock off Amarillo to sweep in three: 25-23, 26-24, 25-13.
