Lady Bulldogs Kelli Stewart and Michele Williams convinced
the Lady Tigers that "it just wasn't going to happen" tonight.
In the third set, the Lady Tigers tried to turn it up a notch or two but were met at the net with a wall of pure DAWG Power!! Michele 'Boom Boom' Williams sliced and diced her way in this deciding set with 4 of her 12 kills for the evening with an assist block while Hannah Fort assisted on 5 blocks and taking care of things with a solo block at 13-7 to compliment her 7 kills. Hitter and All Around Jamie Kaleh had another productive evening with 9 kills, 1 block assist, 2 Aces, and 8 digs; followed by Meagan Little's 6 kills and 2 block assists and Alicia Shaffer's 5 kills, 3 aces and 11 digs; along with Kelli Stewart's 2 kills, 1 block assist and 1 ace serve - to round out the even scoring and to keep Klein Collins guessing where the ball was going to come from next! The setters were busy tonight as well. Hannah Davies finished the evening with 16 assists and 4 aces, while Paige Holland led the way with 18 assists. Kati Michael finished with 2. In addition to Kaleh's and Shaffer's digs, libero Brittany Wheaton handled 8 digs for the evening. This audio file picks up some late action with the DAWGS in the lead at 21-14...
