The Lady Bulldogs cruised past the Northbrook Lady Ragin' Raiders by a score of 25-10 in a mis-match during the second round of the Spring Branch Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs completed their 9th sweep of the season in 2 unrelenting games. Actually, they were due for one of those types of matches where everyone could play relaxed and have a lot of fun and really enjoy a total team victory. They just couldn't expect it to be in the second round of a tournament against an opponent who had just won their opener as well!! But the ladies made it happen and in impressive fashion.

After the Lady Bulldogs started their play with a couple of receive errors, Lauren Michael opened the 'feeding frenzy' with three kills and the Raiders quickly knew they was no way of getting out of this dogfight (at least, ALIVE!!). The Lady Bulldogs did everything right from then on, including bringing in Samantha Lange, Ashley Meeks, Carly Springer and Kristyn Bergen to stretch the lead and give the others a well deserved rest! Hannah Fort had a field day controlling the middle offensively and defensively and ended the match with 11 Kills. Coach J substituted freely, wisely and strategically and the result was a great time was had by all.
