Set 2, Lady Bulldogs Grab Tigerettes by the Tail

Lady Bulldog OHL Kristyn Bergen 'winding up and letting one fly' by Conroe.

The Lady Bulldogs had a slow start tonight against Conroe and I'll bet the Tigerettes couldn't have been happier....the ladies ambushed Magnolia early - outplaying their visitors and leading the DAWGS from the start- only to have it slip away by letting Magnolia "tie-it-up", and lead the set near the end of the game...The Tigerettes somehow regrouped and took the error-prone Dawgs in the first set 25-19....Ouch, this isn't supposed to start like this.......

Lady Bulldogs Jamie Kaleh and Michele Williams
forcing the Lady Tiger's hitter to re-think her strategy.
Well, here we are in Set #2 and the Lady Bulldogs are fit to be tied!! They are fully awake now (even if it's 5:45 PM) and Michele Williams has fired off a kill at 2-3, 3-3, a block at 4-5, then a hit off the Tigerettes' paws at 6-5; followed by a classic MB Hannah Fort block at 8-7; and a beautiful kill shot just inches short of the back line, and in the left corner by Alicia Shaffer that put our ladies in front, and for good at 9-7. There were some technical difficulties in the gymnasium and we had a dropped call, and as a result - this audio file picks up in the second set and the DAWGS are barking!!......23-12.

Lady Bulldog OHR Kelli Stewart never gave Conroe

an opportunity for an easy shot against Magnolia.
