Both Hannah Fort and Lauren Michael team up together to
inflict a little punishment on a Tomball Lady Cougar.
The Lady Bulldogs won the district match 3-1.
The Lady Bulldogs returned from the dead in Game #4 and trounced the Lady Cougars 25-17 to win their district match in a resounding fashion. It was a pounding that was long over-due and needed to be made to establish Magnolia as the BIG DOGS and the 'heir apparent' in their rivalry and now the stronger team. Although the Magnolia fans would've loved to see this in Game #3, it was worth the wait for Game #4. The Lady Bulldogs jumped on the Lady Cougars from an early 5-1 lead and stretched it to 13-7 with strong play from Hannah Fort, Michele Williams (12 kills for the match), Caitlin Holland and Mary Chadwick (22 assists in the match) and a 're-vitalized' Alicia Shaffer. Lauren Michael finished the evening with 15 Kills for Magnolia and Kat Kramer had 9 for Tomball. This audio picks up with the Lady Bulldogs leashing the Lady Cougars at 16-8.
Game #4
The Lady Bulldogs, now 6-2 in District 17-5A play will face the Jersey Village Lady Falcons (4-4) on Friday night on the Lady Falcon's home court.
