Lady Bulldog MB 'Boom Boom' Williams begins the
'festivities' with a kill to the right against Cy Ridge.
The Magnolia Lady Bulldogs came out of the starting gate "breathing fire" as they began their match with the Cy Ridge 'Lady Rams' tonight in Game #1. 'Boom Boom' Williams started the night out with a quick kill, then was followed up by 6 un-returnable serves by Alicia Shaffer to put the Lady Bulldogs on top 7-0 and to begin maintaining at least a 7 point margin for the entire game. Actually, during the middle of the game, Cy Ridge was trying to be more assertive and breathe a little life into themselves as well, and began to grasp the momentum. The Lady Bulldogs quickly went back to the drawing board and called on the 'Williams Glide" again to pound out a big point and a 15-8 score. When Lauren Michael followed up by peppering 2 straight kills at 18-11 and 19-11, Magnolia firmly established themselves as the 'big dogs ' in this dogfight.
