Lady Bulldog Alicia Shaffer (shown serving here) had a good night playing
against Cy Ridge. Alicia and Michele Williams teamed up for a final block
assist that ended Game 3 and the match at 25-20.
We're in Game #3 where Cy Ridge put up a great fight keeping it close from the beginning of this game. Michele 'Boom Boom' Williams (15 kills for the night) took control of this one and literally 'rocked' the house with two kills: one at 10-11 and another at 14-13 (registered 7.6 on Richter Scale). After Hannah Fort had a nice kill at 16-13, the Lady Bulldogs decided it was a good time to take a short nap, and after awakening to the shrill of a whistle when a Magnolia time out was called- found themselves down 18-19. A Lauren Michael kill tied it at 19-19 and an Alicia Shaffer kill made it 20-19.
