Hannah Davies started the action with a great serve that was sent back over the net where Michele Williams was waiting for an easy point. From that point on the Lady Bulldogs never looked back. The Dawgs played nearly error-free ball to dispose of their opponents from Richmond, TX in quick order. Alicia Shaffer and Michele Williams led the offensive attack with 5 kills each. Shaffer continued her excellent serving with 4 aces and Kelli Stewart followed with 3 ace serves of her own. Hannah Fort and Kelli led the team with 3 block assists each. Jamie Kaleh led the team with 4 kills in game 2.
It was a complete team effort with Brittany Wheaton patrolling back row and Kati Michael and Paige Holland setting the table for the attackers. The only downside to this match (if there was one) was that setter Hannah Davies had to sit out the remainder of the match after serving because her jersey was not identical with the rest of the team......
