Nice move by Lady Bulldog MB Hannah Fort, who
cuts right and hits left for another Magnolia point.
The Lady Bulldogs started their match against the Klein Oak Lady Panthers slowly this evening and once they worked up their momentum, they never looked back. Just as well, because if they did - they would've seen a fresh, Panther roadkill in their rear mirrors. After a flat beginning in set 1, hitter Alicia Shaffer's kill at 6-7 and follow up kill in the middle of the court at 7-9 kick-started the Lady Bulldogs as they began to find their legs again, and when Hannah Fort hammered a nice kill to put the Lady Bulldogs on top at 10-9 it looked like things were going our way! But the Lady Panthers didn't roll over so easily and kept the set close never getting more than 2 points behind Magnolia...let's jump in this set #1 with the Lady Bulldogs leading 15-14, shall we?.....
