in this set by overpowering the Conroe Lady Tigers.
Set #3 and the Lady Bulldogs have figured it out and are starting to attack Conroe like a runaway train..Lady Bulldog OHL Alicia Shaffer lit 'em up with an onslought of kills, great defense, and contaigous energy - to take command in the first half of the game. Kelli Stewart started things rolling for Magnolia with a great kill at 1-1, then a serving ace at 3-1; and when Michele Williams dinked the ball over the Tigerette's paws at 4-1, the DAWGS were beginning their prowl. Shaffer started the frenzy with a shot at 6-2, then played great defense by digging and passing everything that came her way, and still had enough left over to blister Conroe with a great kill at 8-2...oops, and then again at 9-2. When Michelle Williams and Hannah Fort saw their Warrior Princess (Alicia) ripping into Conroe single-handedly like that, they both immediately jumped in....starting with Michele's kills at 10-2 and at 11-3; and Hannah Fort's blast at 14-6.....and the DAWGS were back ...... feeling good and BIG n' BAD......!!
