……out of the first 26 commitments for NCAA colleges in 2008 there are 16 Middle Blockers already committed? That's approx 62% of commitments for one position!

…..former Magnolia Lady Bulldog star Amber Meeks, who is playing for Texas Lutheran University Lady Bulldogs (9-5, 6-0) has a 2006 total of 129 kills, averaging 2.53 kills/game along with 121 digs = 2.37 digs/game? Amber is 3rd in kills for her team and 2nd in digs!

Amber is also a member of TLU’s women's track and field team...Amber ran anchor leg on Bulldogs' 4x100 relay team, which finished sixth in the NCAA Division III in 2005...Earned All-America honors in women's track and field (2005) ... ASC champion in 100 meters (2005) ...Wow, is she ever busy!?!

….. former Magnolia Lady Bulldog MB star Melissa (Doris) Craig pounded out 17 kills and added a career-high 9 blocks as her Loyola Ramblers team mates held off Bradley, in a stirring match on Oct 3, 2006 at Robertson Fieldhouse in Peoria, Ill.?


……that former Lady Bulldog star Jessie Dureell: MB for the Trinity University Lady Tigers (15-4, 4-0) led her volleyball team to a 4-0 record last weekend, earning SCAC Player of the Week honors in the process? The senior star helped Trinity move up to eighth in the latest AVCA Division III poll with the four victories, and she finished the weekend with 28 kills and a .490 hitting percentage, committing just four errors in 49 attempts. Jessie has 115 kills this season - averaging 2.05 kills/game with a whopping .335 hitting percentage. Jessie also has a total of 54 solo and assist blocks, averaging close to 1 per game. What a finely tuned volleyball machine!!
