In the first set the PUPS opened up a 9 point spread behind a OH Jamie Paulson ace serve and two MB Breann Matula aces during her serving spree of 8 consecutive serves. A couple of MB Meagan Little kills at 14-5 and 16-7 coupled with an ace by Jamie Paulson at 19-10 and again at 20-10, put the PUPS in stride and in control near the end of the set leaving a OH Michelle Larson dink at 23-11 and another Meagan Little kill at 24-12 to sew the game up at 25-13. Nicely done, ladies !!! ..... Magnolia controlled the entire set.
The second set was similar with similar results, but a slightly different path in getting there: Lady Bulldog MB Breann Matula opened the set up with a couple of points from a block at 2-0 and a hit at 4-1, then MB Meagan Little hammered home a Happy Birthday shot at 6-3 and a follow up block at 8-4 and another block at 12-5 to put the ladies on top by seven points and a spread they would not relinquish. OH Jamie Paulson had a nice kill at 14-6 and when Breann Matula jammed a kill in at 16-9, it was all over but the purring!! The PUPS coasted to another 25-12 finish and another sweep at the DAWG HOUSE....!!!
